I love being a mom. However, when I decided to be a mom it didn't sink in that my job as a mom will never end. My son is 18 years old and it is starting another phase for me as a parent. Just as I had to learn how to change diapers, take his temperature, and what to feed him at the right growth stages, I am learning how to parent an 18 year old. It is a tough stage and delicate balance. Nevertheless, I can't say my work is done. It really has just begun a new chapter.
